The Evans School is a highly regarded kindergarten through sixth grade school. Founded over 25 years ago by Ms. Gale Bear and her mother, it is located in a charming New England style building.

The school emphasis is high academic achievement, with concentration on the fundamentals - reading, writing and mathematics. The teacher to student ratio is low and teachers encourage students with praise and recognition.

Known for putting on several excellent theatrical productions a year, The Evans School encourages all students in an appreciation of the arts. The physical education program is also innovative with the entire school being divided into two teams.
