La Jolla High School is part of the San Diego Unified School District and
enrolls 1700 students in grades 9-12. It is located in the heart of La Jolla
Village and enjoys a reputation of being one of the foremost public high
schools in the nation.
The School has an exceptional science program. The extended influence of
the University of California San Diego, located in La Jolla and one of the
outstanding science schools in the world, has played a role in helping La
Jolla High School achieve this.
La Jolla High School maintains an excellent comprehensive educational program
with a strong emphasis on academic achievement. Over 90% of graduates continue
their education at universities and colleges. A significant number of graduates
attend out-of-state, Ivy League and University of California institutions.
